Another Kingdom                                                                      March 23, 2003

Daniel 7:27,

And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

There is war in Iraq. There is war in our streets as so called peace demonstrators pelt bottles and rocks at policemen. It is an ironic situation because their freedom to protest was won with the wars and lives of others. By the way, where were the peace protesters when Sadaam was gassing thousands of Kuwaitis to death? Why did they not fly to Baghdad and march in protest there?! Hypocrites!!!

The truth is that there will be no peace until the Lord Jesus Christ returns. There is a false peace that the peaceniks and popes preach about but God’s Word is clear:

1 Thes. 5:3,

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

In case you wonder if Sadaam Huessein is worth taking out consider the facts: he has weapons of mass destruction and the desire to build nuclear weapons, he has used poison gas on his own people, he believes he is the reincarnation of Nebuchadnezzar (who controlled more of this world than any other ruler).

Sadaam’s sons have been raised to be cruel thugs, having their own private torture chambers where men and women are subjected to cruel punishment for the amusement of these evil men.

The alternative to war is Shari a law –that is the goal of Islam. They want to rule the world and subject all free peoples and nations to the moon god Allah.

There are 22 Islamic nations around Israel. Last Friday, Christians were taken out into the street and beheaded for their faith. As the heads roll the mob cheers and goes to Mosque for a prayer meeting.

John 16:2,

yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

The Lord will return soon and set up His Kingdom:

-         there won’t be any rape rooms in that day

-         there won’t be any torture chambers

-         women will not be treated as slaves

-         men will be able to believe the Bible is true

-         there won’t be any more mosques

-         teenage girls won’t have to worry about men dismembering them with chain saws.

-         there will be no poison gas floating in the air

-         the Jews won’t have to worry about scud missiles

-         the Christians won’t have to be beheaded

-         There will be no more demon possessed men raping and killing women and children as they chant “Allah is great!”

-         Folks won’t have to see their spouses killed in the name of Islam

God’s kingdom is going to be much different!

Royal Kingdom: Ruled by the King of Kings and Lord of Lords

Rev. 19:16,

And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Righteous Kingdom: No sin will prevail.

Rev. 19:15,

And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Restored Kingdom: Much like the garden of Eden.

Rev. 22:3,

And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

Rich Kingdom: True, eternal riches will be there.

Luke 16:11,

If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

Proverbs 13:7,

There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches.

Matthew 6:20,

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

Redeemed Kingdom: The saints will inhabit this Kingdom

   Rev. 5:9,

   And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

   Isaiah 51:11,

Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

Radiant Kingdom: The Lord Himself shall radiate light throughout this Kingdom.

Rev. 21:22-24,

And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. [23] And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. [24] And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

Rapturous Kingdom: There will be joy unspeakable in the presence of the Lord.

Psalm 48:2,

Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

Psalm 149:2,

Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

Psalm 132:16,

I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
